38205 18G HDMI & IR Cat.6 Extender, 50m

This HDMI® 4K60 & IR Cat.6 Extender is a reliable and efficient solution for transmitting HDMI® 4K signals up to 50 m (164.04 ft) using a standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. It supports HDMI® 2.0 18G specifications for high-resolution 4K Ultra HD video. It supports HDR (High-Dynamic Range) video content for brighter images with improved contrast and a wider color gamut, making it ideal for home cinema or digital signage installations. 

HDCP 2.2 compatibility ensures playback of protected signals from sources such as Blu-Ray players, media players, set-top boxes, etc. It supports lossless multi-channel audio formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD for faithful reproduction of both video and audio. 

The transmitter features an HDMI output for local monitoring, providing additional flexibility for various scenarios, such as control rooms or creating a second zone for displaying multimedia presentations. The EDID selector allows copying EDID data from a chosen display to optimize signal output. 

The PoC function (Power over Cat.6) transfers power via the Cat.6 cable in a point-to-point setup, requiring only one power supply to power both units. Pass-through IR allows the source to be controlled from the remote location using its remote control. 

Note: This product cannot operate in combination with other active network devices; it requires a direct point-to-point connection.
