EVOCA HP150W High-Power 2-Way 8” Projector Speaker for Outdoor (White)

There are many fixed outdoor applications that require high-power / wide coverage sound projectors. In these cases, traditional horn speakers do not offer the required audio spectrum, for example, for background music or other high-quality audio contents in big spaces like parks, production facilities, sports fields, shopping center parking lots, etc.

Since HELVIA's EVOCA HP series projectors are designed as 2-way coaxial speakers with vented ports and a fixed 90° x 60° (H x V) waveguide, they are essentially high-power speakers but built to offer an IP55 rating and last overtime, even when exposed to the elements.

The series consists of two models: one with 150W RMS power output and an 8" woofer and a 1" HF driver (EVOCA HP150) and the other with 300W RMS power output and a 12" woofer and a 1.7" HF driver (EVOCA HP300). Sensitivity (1W@1m) ranges from 96dB to 99dB, resulting in sound pressure levels typically found in portable and/or rental audio systems.

Although these projectors are equipped with internal 70V and 100V line transformers with 5 selectable power levels, they can easily be driven by low-impedance (8ohm) power amplifiers.

The IP55 rating is ensured both by the grille and mounting bracket, which are treated against humidity and rust, and by the high-quality UV-resistant plastic materials used for the external structure and internal components. All this with a view to maximum durability over time even if constantly exposed to the elements.
