The Helvia SoniX M8800 is a digital audio matrix designed to serve as the core of powerful and flexible multi-zone systems.
Its robust and scalable hardware and software architecture makes it ideal both for conference rooms and for complex installations requiring the simultaneous management of up to 8 sources and 8 independent outputs.

At the heart of the system is a 400 MHz floating-point DSP paired with a 1.2 GHz Linux-based dual-core control chip, ensuring exceptional processing capacity and enabling future configuration expansion by adding inputs and outputs based on installation needs. In a market where microphone preamplifier quality is often sacrificed, the SoniX M8800 stands out with its ultra-low-noise preamps, delivering a noise floor as low as –100 dB—allowing a wide dynamic range and outstanding clarity even with very weak signals.

The system offers complete and intuitive control through dedicated Windows® software, programmable in just a few minutes. USB and TCP/IP connectivity enable direct PC control as well as integration into professional AV networks or third-party systems via TCP/IP and RS-232 protocols.
For more advanced installations, the matrix can also be controlled remotely through up to 16 wall-mounted touchscreen panels connected via RS-485, ideal for distributing controls across multiple zones.

Each input includes an advanced suite of processors: Adaptive Feedback Suppression, Automatic Echo Cancellation, Automatic Gain Control, Noise Gate, Limiter, and an 8-band parametric EQ, in addition to high-pass and low-pass filters with slopes up to 48 dB/octave.
Outputs include additional sound-shaping tools, featuring parametric EQ, filters, delay up to 300 ms, and limiters—providing precise and flexible audio processing across all system paths. The matrix also integrates two USB ports—one on the front and one on the rear—which enable not only computer control but also direct audio playback and recording from USB media, with full signal-routing flexibility identical to any other system source.

Completing the system, the SoniX MWP BK (black) and SoniX MWP WH (white) wall-mounted touch interfaces provide the ideal solution for extending local control.
Equipped with a built-in 4" color touchscreen, these interfaces allow users to adjust volume levels, mute inputs, select sources, and quickly recall up to eight presets configured on the matrix. Simplicity and design meet functionality: each touch panel includes an external power supply, RJ-45 serial-connection adapter cables, and an 80×80 mm wall box for seamless architectural integration. Thanks to their elegant, minimal aesthetic and compact dimensions (90×90×28 mm), the MWP interfaces can be installed in any corporate, hospitality, retail, or educational environment.
