ShapeYourTone, in collaboration with Frenexport and NUX, is kicking off a training project dedicated to all guitarists eager to improve their sound and thoroughly understand how to use effects, pedals and power supplies most effectively.
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the music school Musica senza confini in Coazze, the first of what we hope will become a long series of educational clinics dedicated to the universe of electric guitar sound was held.
Morning Session
Ale from ShapeYourTone kicked things off with a deep dive into the theory behind guitar tone: from signal chain basics to key effects, and how to place and manage everything in a real-world setup.
Afternoon Session
With gear provided by NUX (pedals, power supplies, boards, and accessories), each participant got to build and experiment with their own effects chain – putting the theory into action and hearing the difference for themselves.
During the hands-on afternoon, attendees had the chance to try out a sweet selection of NUX pedals, thanks to Frenexport.
