Frenexport at MIR 2026: The Integrated Evolution of Light, Audio and Vision

At MIR in Rimini, Frenexport reaffirmed its leading role in the professional lighting and integrated audio landscape, showcasing a technological ecosystem capable of combining innovation, operational versatility, and above all a wide product portfolio. The booth, thanks to its logical and highly functional layout, welcomed visitors who were able to experience the latest from CentoLight, Helvia, Soundsation, and Fantek, as well as discover new brands such as Geotag, offering localization systems specifically designed for the rental and service industry and set to gain increasing attention.

Romano Frenquelli, Vice President of Frenexport, emphasized the strategic importance of the event, describing it as a key moment for exchange and growth.

"We are extremely satisfied with the response received here at MIR," stated Frenquelli during the show. "For us, this exhibition represents the ideal stage not only to showcase new products, but to confirm the strength of the path we are pursuing: a blend of advanced technological research and direct listening to the needs of professionals working in the field every day."

Among the undisputed stars of the CentoLight area was the PLOT 6300, a six-in-one theater projector with zoom and color conversion, designed to offer superior color accuracy and flexibility of use in the most demanding contexts.

Alongside this, the battery-powered product line demonstrated significant strides in terms of robustness and battery life. The Moodmaster 18 confirms its position as a market standard thanks to its solid construction and a battery capable of providing up to ten hours of continuous use.

The offering was further enriched by the IP65 outdoor series, which includes the IP Compact Wash 6x20W and Portrait Q-Air Bar, pixel-controlled bars with nine LEDs, all easily manageable via wireless protocol or DMX. The series is also completed by the Portrait Q-Air IP and Portrait Q-Air IP Mini.

On the Helvia side, the focus was on intelligent audio management. The centerpiece was the digital matrix processor — a compact yet powerful rack unit, demonstrated through dedicated control software. This system enables precise audio routing, supported by intuitive user interfaces and wall panels for remote control of volume and sources. Once again, Frenquelli reinforced the company philosophy behind these solutions:

"With Helvia, we aim to simplify complexity. Our goal is to provide systems that seamlessly integrate hardware and software, making any installation — from conference rooms to auditoriums — smooth and user-friendly."

Soundsation completed the showcase with a strong focus on wireless connectivity and versatility. The range of wireless microphone systems and transmission solutions highlighted the brand’s ability to deliver reliable signals for both live and installed applications. The new compact mixers also drew significant attention, maintaining high signal quality in reduced formats for agile setups.

Frenexport, also distributor of the Spanish brand Fantek, presented the restyled Pre-Rig Truss — an innovative and versatile pre-assembled truss for the lighting and AV sector. The new model features adjustable eyebolts, allowing flexible positioning and secure locking to suspend loads such as LED screens directly, or alternatively use traditional clamps or slings. The trolley includes two lifting points for safe operation with four lifters and can be equipped with cable trays or integrated flight cases.

The main tube position is lower, ideal for large moving heads, while each truss is supplied with anti-scratch F rings. The trolley is foldable and height-adjustable for efficient transport and setup.

As a European premiere, Frenexport launched the ELL™ hoist range — ready-to-use electric chain motors fully compliant with event industry standards. Models UC1, UC2, and D8 Plus were showcased, specifically designed for rigging applications.

ELL products meet all UC1 and UC2 requirements: transmission mechanism sized at twice the rated load, black phosphate load chain with 8:1 safety factor, and dual braking system for maximum reliability.

Innovation was certainly not lacking at MIR 2026 and will continue in the coming months. Frenexport remains committed to maintaining fully stocked warehouses to ensure product availability: for information or quotations, simply get in touch.
