The ARC218 is a high-performance subwoofer equipped with two 18” neodymium transducers, engineered to deliver exceptional sound pressure for high-impact professional applications. Featuring a design supported by Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the ARC218 provides extended low-frequency response down to 30 Hz, with a maximum peak SPL of 140 dB, ensuring deep, precise bass reproduction.

Its compact and durable build, finished with a rugged TourCoat™ polyurea coating, is designed to endure the rigours of touring. The dual speakON™ NL4 connectors on front and rear panels allow for clean and efficient wiring, especially in cardioid configurations.

The externally optimised dimensions make for efficient truck packing, and the M20 pole mount adds modular flexibility in full-range setups. ARC218 is the ideal solution for event venues, arenas, and large indoor/outdoor installations, where power, reliability and acoustic control are essential.

Highlights

Transport-friendly and rugged build

Featuring a new ergonomic handle cup design and external dimensions optimized for efficient truck packing, this subwoofer is built for the road. The rugged TourCoat polyurea finish ensures durability in demanding environments.

Front and rear speakON chassis

SpeakON inputs and outputs on both the front and back of the chassis for modular management that is accessible from any angle.

FEA-optimised cabinet and hyperboloid porting

Extensive Finite Element Analysis has been applied to both cabinet and port design, significantly reducing port turbulence and unwanted air noise. This results in more accurate, cleaner low-frequency reproduction even at high output levels.

Flexible array configurations, including cardioid

The Arcline 118 can be used individually or in arrayed setups, including cardioid configurations for directional low-frequency control. It is also compatible with the Arcline 218, making it ideal for scalable sound reinforcement systems.

Product details

Key features

  • Array-dependent dispersion: the directional response of the system is not fixed but depends on the configuration of the elements in the array, allowing the user to shape the wavefront according to the environment and the specific needs of the project.
  • High efficiency with low distortion: with a sensitivity of 100 dB at 1W/1m and a continuous output capacity of 134 dB, the Arcline 218 delivers high sound pressure levels without sacrificing definition or timbre clarity, even in the most extreme conditions.
  • Equipped with two 18” neodymium transducers, the ARC218 delivers extremely powerful low-frequency punch while keeping overall weight under control through the use of lightweight, high-performance magnets.
  • Versatile wiring with front and rear inputs: the double set of speakON™ NL4 connectors (front and rear) allows great flexibility in system configurations, facilitating integration into cardioid arrays or installations with complex wiring.
