Engineered for high-reliability commercial audio systems, this rack-mount digital switching power amplifier combines high thermal efficiency, flexible output routing, and advanced circuit protection in a compact form factor designed for 24/7 continuous operation.
ZEUS 4240DCA power amplifier utilizes cutting-edge Class-D switching technology to deliver maximum thermal efficiency and exceptionally low power consumption. Designed for installation in standard 19-inch equipment racks, its high-density, low-profile chassis significantly reduces rack space requirements while dramatically minimizing heat generation compared to traditional linear amplifiers.
Collapse textThe amplifier is engineered to deliver a rated continuous power output of 240W per channel, utilizing heavy-duty Phoenix (Euroblock) screw terminals for secure and efficient field wiring.
It features comprehensive load versatility, operating seamlessly into low-impedance loudspeaker loads ranging from 4Ω to 16Ω as well as high-impedance 70V and 100V distributed line systems without requiring external matching transformers.
Audio signal input is routed through balanced Phoenix connectors equipped with precision gain control trimmers to optimize system gain structure and maximize signal-to-noise ratio. To maximize energy efficiency and comply with green building standards, each channel incorporates an independent, selectable auto-standby function that automatically transitions the unit into a low-power mode during prolonged periods of inactivity.
Additionally, each channel features a switchable 80 Hz low-pass filter (LPF) to optimize sub-bass performance or restrict unnecessary low-frequency dispersion depending on speaker deployment.
System stability and component longevity are ensured via comprehensive protection circuitry, safeguarding against short circuits, thermal overload, excessive input clipping, DC fault voltages, and general overload conditions. Dedicated front-panel LED indicators provide real-time status diagnostics for immediate operational verification.
Operational thermal management is actively regulated by internal variable-speed cooling fans that automatically adjust airflow based on internal temperature sensors. The unit is powered by an integrated universal switch-mode power supply accepting 110 V to 230 V AC input, guaranteeing stable operation across global power grids.
