Harmonica, a natural globetrotter in all kinds of music: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Classic and much more! The harmonica is nowadays popular in almost every music style, and Hohner, the world's biggest manufacturer of quality harmonicas, is proud to be a supplier of high quality instruments for exactly 150 years now.To continue this tradition we are investing constantly in research and development. The robustly constructed and reasonably priced models of the Chrometta series are the perfect starting point for learning chromatic harmonica. Larger channel openings in combination with the projecting mouthpiece ensure great response and make it easier for the beginning player to hit single notes accurately. The Chrometta was first released in 1956 and introduced the concept of a divided slide, integrated into the comb/mouthpiece unit, which is still used in this model today. This feature makes the harmonica very service-friendly and is resistant against moisture as well as gliding easily on the lips.Chrometta 8 design includes an enclosed mouthpiece and slide mechanism which allows you to blow straight at the reed plates, creating a tone that is clear and consistent with strong projection. The enclosed cover design insures a rich, full resonance. Collapse text
