The HELVIA DICO series column speakers were designed to bring together two key elements: acoustic performance and modern aesthetics.

Each model uses 50×90mm full-range drivers with a slim, runway-shaped profile -equivalent to a standard 2.5" transducer - paired with 1" point-source tweeters. This setup works like a mini line array, minimizing unwanted reflections from floors and ceilings. The result is crystal-clear voice reproduction and enhanced overall definition across the full frequency range, from 120Hz up to 20kHz.

The longer the array, the more extended the cylindrical sound wave it generates - keeping sound levels consistent even at greater listening distances compared to conventional point-source systems. When paired with a subwoofer system, the DICO speakers deliver deep, well-balanced lows for a smooth and immersive sound experience.

Equipped with a line transformer and a 3-position selector, the DICO columns can easily connect to both constant-voltage amplifiers (70V/100V) and low-impedance systems. The protections on the connections and connection cables also make them waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with an IP66 protection rating.
